130 YEARS OF HERITAGE MUSEUM GAZHANE
Museum Gazhane is a new “living space” brought to Istanbul as a result of the transformation of the 130-year-old Hasanpaşa Gazhane with a long-term struggle and a multifaceted restoration project. Müze Gazhane, which makes Istanbulites breathe as a meeting stop, does not position itself as just a static “creative place”. It aims to be an active public space right in life with its new function, brand new energy that it radiates to the city, multi-purpose usage areas, events and transition that includes the neighborhood with all its elements. Müze Gazhane, which adopts the principle of making culture, art and science accessible to everyone, takes it from its structure that thinks about the transformative power together, updates the memory of the city together and adopts participation.
